Unfortunately, we will not be able to continue with the Coding Club at this time. We feel that the younger children were not able to access the lesson as well as they should because they don’t have the necessary experience of using a desktop computer, nor do they have the necessary decoding skills to be able to read instructions. This then made it demanding of the tutor’s time in terms of support.
We will be looking towards finding another Coding offer, but if we are unable then we will wait until the children are a little older, potentially the summer term, when they should be able to access the instructions more easily.
